Gallery Tab: Creating and Managing Categories in Gallery (Standalone)

Organize your image library with powerful tools inside the Gallery Tab. Here’s how to create, edit, and manage categories, add images, and apply overlays all in one place.

Step-by-Step Guide

Create a New Category

  1. Open the Dashboard Menu
    Go to the left sidebar in your Standalone dashboard.

  2. Click on “Gallery”
    This opens your full image management panel.

  3. Click “Add Category”
    Start a new category by clicking the “Add Category” button.

  4. Enter a Category Name
    Type your desired title into the “Enter category name” field.

Optional: Enable Image Overlay

  1. Toggle Image Overlay On
    Turn on the Image Overlay feature if you want custom overlay effects for images in this category.

  2. Upload a Cover Page Image
    Choose an image to be the category’s cover visual.

  3. Crop to Your Liking
    Use the built-in crop tool to adjust the cover image.

  4. Click “Submit”
    Save the category and its details.


Add Images to a Category

  1. Click “Add Images”
    After submitting, you'll see the new category appear. Click to add images.

  2. Choose a Category
    Select the correct category where the images should be uploaded.

  3. Upload Files
    Drag and drop files or click “Browse Files”. Supported formats: .png, .jpg, .svg

  4. Tag Your Images
    You can add custom tags for easy searching and sorting later.

  5. Submit and View
    Once uploaded, images will appear immediately in your gallery.


Manage Categories and Images

  1. Navigate to Categories Tab
    Select any category to view or edit its contents.

  2. Edit with Checkboxes + Actions
    Use checkboxes to select images, then apply batch Actions like edit or delete.

  3. Sort & Search

  • Use the Sort function to change image order.

  • Use the Search Images… field to locate files quickly.

  1. Use the Three Dots for More Options
    Click the three dots (...) next to any category or image to:

  • Add Subcategory

  • Edit

  • Add Images

  1. Add Subcategories (Optional)
    To create a subcategory, follow the same steps you used to create a main category.


Done: Your Gallery Is Organized!
Once finished, your categorized and tagged images are now ready for clients to access with ease.
