Builder Settings (Standalone)

The Builder Settings Tab lets you fully tailor your design interface to match your business needs and enhance your customer’s experience. Below is your full guide to configuring everything from file types to live chat!

Builder Settings Overview

1. Supported Upload File Types
   Define which file formats your builder accepts (e.g., PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF).

2. Auto Resize Image to 300 DPI
   Automatically adjusts uploaded images to meet print-quality resolution.

   • If an image is poor quality and gets enlarged, the system will:

     • Warn customers up to three times

     • Show a box outline indicating resolution and print map

     • Display a low-resolution warning during checkout

     • Require the customer to click “Print Anyway” to proceed

Canva & Background Quality Tools

3. Enable Canva Integration
   Let customers design in Canva and import their designs directly into the builder.

   • Users will click “Connect” → “Allow” → Designs are imported into the canvas.

4. Enable Background Warning
   Warns users of unwanted specs or transparent areas in their image backgrounds.

   • They’ll see a “Remove Background” button after upload if issues are detected.

Layout & Spacing Tools

5. Image Margin
   Automatically or manually control the space between images on the gang sheet.

   • Adjust margins manually

   • Change unit preferences (in, cm, mm)

6. Artboard Margin
   Define space between the design and the edge of the gang sheet (corners included).

Text & Overlay Features

7. Enable or Disable Text Tool

   • Don’t need text? Toggle it OFF to simplify the interface.

8. Custom Text Colors

   • Define brand-specific or team-specific colors customers can use for their text.

9. Custom Image Overlay Colors

   • Preload your builder with custom color overlays customers can apply to their images.

Smart Automation & Interactions

10. Enable Auto Build

• Allows customers to upload multiple files, and the builder automatically generates gang sheets to fit them.

• Users select designs → set dimensions → click Apply → gang sheets are created automatically.

11. Enable Image/Text Flipping

• Toggle ON to let customers flip elements horizontally for mirrored designs.

12. Collect Shipping Addresses

• Enable this to gather full shipping info during checkout.

13. Enable Agree Modal

• Adds a signature/terms popup before checkout.

• Protects you by stating:

  “You agree you own the artwork, accept the image quality, and release the printer from color or quality-related issues.”

14. Change Default Language

• Choose your builder’s default display language for multilingual support.

15. Enable Live Chat

• Paste your own chat widget code to provide real-time customer support.
