Builder Settings: Artwork Uploads in Shopify

Want to control which design file formats your customers can upload? The Artwork Uploads setting lets you define what file types are allowed in the builder keeping uploads clean and compatible.

Step-by-Step Setup

1. Go to Settings

   • In your Shopify dashboard, click Settings

2. Open the Builder Tab

   • Navigate to: Settings > Builder

3. Find “Artwork Uploads” / Supported File Types

   • Here you’ll see a field where you can enter or select allowed file extensions

   • Common types: .png, .jpg, .svg, .pdf, .ai (based on what you want to support)

4. Click “Save All”

   • Make sure to save changes so only those file types are accepted by the builder

Done your builder now filters file uploads by type!
