Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Go to Settings

    • From your Shopify dashboard, click Settings

  2. Open the Builder Tab

    • Navigate to: Settings > Builder

  3. Enable “Auto Resize Image to Meet 300 DPI”

    • This setting will automatically shrink and size images to ensure they meet 300 DPI resolution

  4. Click “Save All”

    • Don’t forget to save your changes to activate the feature

What Customers Will See

  • When uploading an image:

    • It will auto scale to the correct size for 300 DPI

    • A green border indicates the image meets quality standards

    • If a customer stretches the image beyond this, the outline changes and a warning appears about possible quality loss

  • They still have the option to stretch, but will be informed about the resolution trade-off
