Gang Sheet Settings: Print File Name in Shopify

Want to label each gang sheet with key details? With the Print File Name setting, you can display dynamic variables like order ID, customer name, or date directly on the gang sheet.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Open Settings

   • Go to your Shopify dashboard

   • Click Settings

2. Click the “Gang Sheet” Tab

   • Navigate to: Settings > Gang Sheet

Customize File Name Printing

3. Enable “Print File Name (Default)”

   • This turns on the display of text using variables from the Gang Sheet File Name Format field

4. Set Your File Name Format

   • Use variables like:

     • {OrderID}

     • {CustomerName}

     • {Date}

   • These values will dynamically update per order

Layout Controls

5. Select File Title Position

   • Choose where the file name will appear on the gang sheet:

     • Top

     • Bottom

6. Set File Name Height

   • Define how large the printed label will be using the font height field

Done your gang sheets will now print with order-specific names!
