Image Gallery Settings: Enable Color Overlay

Want to let customers tint or recolor images from your gallery? The Color Overlay feature adds dynamic coloring tools that enhance design flexibility and match brand or team colors.

Step-by-Step Setup

1. Open the App

   • From your Shopify admin, click Apps

   • Select Build A Gang Sheet

2. Click “Settings” > “Image Gallery”

   • Navigate to the Image Gallery tab

3. Enable Color Overlay

   • Find the toggle labeled “Enable Color Overlay”

   • Turn it ON to activate this feature in the builder

How It Works for Customers

4. Select an Image

   • For the overlay tool to activate, customers must first select a gallery image

5. Choose Between Two Modes

   • Blend: Merges the overlay color with the existing image

   • Overlay: Uses the image as a mask and completely covers it in the chosen color

6. Adjust Gamma

   • Customers can fine-tune the appearance of the overlay using the Gamma slider
