Enabling Legacy Customer Accounts on Shopify

If you're having trouble downloading or managing customer reorders, switching your Shopify store to Legacy Customer Account mode may help restore full functionality.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Go to Your Shopify Admin

  2. Click “Settings” in the bottom-left corner of the admin dashboard

  3. Select “Customer Accounts”

  4. Choose the “Legacy” Option

    • This enables the original customer account experience, which is often better supported by third-party apps (like Build A Gang Sheet)

  5. Click “Update” to save your changes


Done your store is now using Legacy Customer Accounts!
Customers should now be able to reorder and access past designs without issue.
