Image By Size (Upload By Size) Shopify

Make ordering simpler for customers who just want one image at a time. With Upload by Size, they can upload a single file, choose quantities, and have the app auto-size it perfectly—ideal for small businesses or first-time users!

PART 1: Set Up the Product in Shopify

1. Go to “Products” > Click “Add Product”

   • Enter your product title (e.g., "Upload by Size")

2. Disable Inventory Tracking

   • Turn off the “Track quantity” option

3. Skip Options (Size/Color)

   • No need to use Shopify's variant options

4. Set Product Details

   • Product Type: Gang Sheet

   • Tags: Gang Sheet

5. Click “Save”

PART 2: Configure in Build A Gang Sheet

6. Open the App

   • Go to Apps > Build A Gang Sheet

7. Click “Products” > Edit Your Product

8. Set Product Type to “Upload Size”

9. Set Your Pricing

   • Example: $0.025–$0.03 per square inch

   • Choose what works best for your audience

10. Go to “Settings” Tab

• Enable any extra features you want (e.g., background removal, guidelines, etc.)

11. Click “Save”

PART 3: Theme Customization (Optional for Older Themes)

12. Go to Sales Channels > Online Store > Navigation > Main Menu

• Add your product page to the menu

13. Online Store > Customize > Home Page > Products

• Click “Create template”

• Name it: Gang Sheet By Size

• Click Create Template

• If using an older theme, rejoin here

14. Go to Products > Select Your Product

• Assign the Gang Sheet template in Theme Template dropdown

• Click Save

PART 4: Add the Upload by Size Button

15. Go to Online Store > Customize

• Find your product page

• Hover between sections and click the “+” icon to add a block

16. Click “Apps” > Choose “Gang Size”

• Hide the default Buy Button

• The Upload by Size button should now appear

17. Click “Save”

PART 5: Test Your Product

18. Click “View Your Store” > Find Your Product

19. Click “Upload Image by Size”

• Upload a single image

• Let the app auto-remove background (if enabled)

• Adjust the sizing before adding to cart

Done Single image uploads are now streamlined!
