How to Upload a Gang Sheet on Shopify

Use this step-by-step guide to set up a product that allows customers to upload their own gang sheets for processing.

Part 1: Create the Product in Shopify

Go to Products
Click “Add Product”
Enter your Title (e.g., “Upload a Gang Sheet”)
Scroll to Product Organization
- In the Type field, enter: Gang Sheet
- In the Tags field, also enter: Gang Sheet
Turn OFF Track quantity
Click Save

Part 2: Create the Builder Template

Go to Sales Channels > Online Store
Click Customize
Switch to the Home Page view
Select Products
Click “Create Template”
Name it: gang-sheet-rolling-sheet
Click Create Template, then exit

Part 3: Assign the Template

Go back to Products
Choose the product you just created
In the Theme Template dropdown, select: gang-sheet-rolling-sheet
Click Save

Part 4: Add the App Block

Go to Online Store > Customize
Switch to the Product Template: gang-sheet-rolling-sheet
Hide the Variant Picker and Buy Button
Hover between sections and click the ➕ plus sign
Select Apps > Gang Upload
Click Save and exit

Part 5: Finalize in Build A Gang Sheet

Go to Apps > Build A Gang Sheet
Click Products
Click Edit next to your “Upload a Gang Sheet” product
Set Product Type to: Gang Upload
Click Save
Click View to test your product

Done your Upload a Gang Sheet product is now live!
Note: This feature does not calculate price based on gang sheet size. You'll need to set pricing manually.
